Hurricane Beryl has become a very dangerous Category 3, says US agency

(Reuters) – Hurricane Beryl has become a very dangerous Category 3, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Sunday.

The hurricane is located about 420 miles (675 km) east-southeast of Barbados, with maximum sustained winds of 100 mph (155 kph), the NHC said.
