Justice Department to appeal dismissal of classified documents case against Trump

(Reuters) – The U.S. Justice Department will appeal a ruling on Monday dismissing the criminal case accusing former President Donald Trump of illegally keeping classified documents after leaving office, a spokesperson for Special Counsel Jack Smith said in a statement.
