DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – With a possible vote on the proposed public safety ordinance, the Duluth City Council is expecting a large public turnout at the scheduled Monday night meeting.
To meet the anticipated demand for both public comment and policy decisions, the start time of the meeting has been moved up to 5:15 p-m instead of the usual 7 p-m start.
The public comment period will continue until all who sign up are allowed to speak or until 9 p-m, whichever comes first.
At that time, the council will then discuss and vote on agenda items.
To comply with the state fire code, admission to the Council Chambers will be capped and overflow seating will be available elsewhere in City Hall with live-stream audio provided.
The meeting on Monday will also be available online and on public access TV.
