UNDATED (KDAL) – Both area U-S Congressmen will be returning to Washington. Representative Pete Stauber has won re-election in Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District with 58 percent of the vote. In Wisconsin’s 7th District, Tom Tiffany was also re-elected with 63 percent of the vote.
Another close race for Minnesota House District 3-B as Republican incumbent Natalie Zeleznikar edged challenger Mark Munger by just 160 votes.
In District 8-A, DFLer Peter Johnson topped Mark McGrew with 68 percent of the vote.
In 8-B, Liish Kozlowski was re-elected by a similar margin.
In Superior, a referendum to increase taxes for the school district passed with 53 percent voting yes.
In Wisconsin’s 73rd Assembly District, Angela Stroud with 56 percent of the vote was elected over Frank Kostka.
