DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Honor Flight Northland will partner with the Duluth Area Chamber Foundation to resume free flights to Washington D-C for veterans in northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
The next flight is scheduled for May 31st of 2025 and area vets can get details about eligibility and applications online at honorflightnorthland.org.
Honor Flights initially focused on World War Two era vets but have since expanded to those who served in the Korean War and Vietnam War eras as well.
The flights are made possible by generous donations from local businesses, organizations and individual donors. Contact the Duluth Area Chamber Foundation for information on making a donation.
Since 2010, over a thousand veterans from the region have participated in the program.
