SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – Searchers on Monday afternoon recovered the body of a missing Duluth man.
78 year old Gregory Garmer left home on Sunday afternoon to ice skate on the Woodstock Bay area of the St. Louis River in Superior.
When he didn’t return as scheduled, a search began on Sunday night.
His body was located around 4 p-m Monday from where he had apparently fallen through the ice.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department got assistance in the search from the St. Louis County Rescue Squad, Superior Police and Fire Departments and the Minnesota State Patrol.
