DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – On Monday, Duluth Police arrested a 23 year old man on pending charges of felony theft of hockey equipment.
The theft of over thirty hockey sticks belonging to the Mankato West hockey team was reported on Saturday.
The gear, taken from a bus, was valued at up to 12 thousand dollars.
According to Northern News Now, the team was in Duluth for the Heritage Holiday Classic and was forced to forfeit their final game that was scheduled on Saturday.
The sticks were recovered by police on Saturday night.
