DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth has reached a tentative agreement with the AFSCME Local 66 bargaining unit.
The union represents nearly 500 city employees.
The bargaining process began in July and a mediation session on Monday lasted over 12 hours.
The agreement, which still needs approval from union members, will avoid any interruption of city services. According to the union, the deal includes wage increases and improved working conditions.
