DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth is open although portions of the upper and lower levels of the main building are closed as they dry out.
Two water pipes broke last week and flooded several areas including the main office and storage areas.
As clean-up continues, open areas may be noisy with fans and dehumidifiers running and some pathways have been modified.
Several animals were relocated as their areas needed to dry out but no animals were harmed by the flooding.
Through Friday (1/31) of this week, tickets to the zoo will be just 5 dollars.
