DULUTH, MN (Northern News Now) – The Duluth Fire Marshal is investigating after a vacant duplex fire Sunday night.
According to the Duluth Fire Department, around 10:20 p.m. several crews responded to the fire near West First Street and North 23rd Avenue West.
When crews arrived on scene, the two-story building was engulfed with flames.
The building is a complete loss as portions of the roof and upper structure collapsed.
For safety reasons, the public is asked to avoid the area due to the cold temperatures and water used in the firefight as roads and sidewalks near the scene could have icy surfaces.
