DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – An accident on Monday afternoon at the intersection of the Haines Road and West Arrowhead knocked out an electrical service pole and destroyed the traffic signal controller cabinet.
Four way stop signs are now in place but motorists are being warned to expect traffic backups and delays at the intersection that serves about 24 thousand vehicles a day.
It is expected to take at least the rest of the week and possible longer to replace the electrical service and controller cabinet.
Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes to avoid the intersection until repairs are complete.
