DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – After responding to reports of a burglary on West 6th Street Sunday afternoon, Duluth Police followed footprints in the snow to another home on North Central Avenue.
A perimeter was set up around that home and the suspect, a 37 year old man, remained inside.
When he refused to come out, officers breached the door and used a drone as surveillance.
A taser was deployed but was ineffective and the suspect remained non-compliant.
Following a K-9 officer entering the home, the suspect was detained and jailed on burglary and obstructing a police officer charges.
Stolen property from both houses was recovered on the suspect and returned to the rightful owners.
