ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Minnesota dropped to 4.3 percent in February, it was 4.5 percent in January.
Over the year job losses were greatest in the Leisure and Hospitality sector where 26.1 percent of employees lost jobs.
Overall, the Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Statistical Area saw the over-the-year employment change down by 6.5 percent.
Nationally, the unemployment rate was at 6.2 percent in February.
