SUPERIOR, WI (CBS-3) – Northwest Wisconsin’s first mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic opened Tuesday at the Wessman Arena in Superior.
Among those attending the opening was Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes who said the state is leading the nation in vaccine distribution and over a third of Wisconsinites have received at least one dose.
Clinic hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays.
The Wessman Clinic is open to anyone who lives, works, or studies in Wisconsin and can give 500 doses each day it’s open.
Right now, the clinic is administering the Pfizer vaccine, but that could change depending on availability.
The Wessman Arena is at 2701 Catlin Avenue and appointments can be scheduled online at https://vaccinate.wi.gov/en-US/ or by calling 844-684-1064.
