DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Beginning in December, Sun Country Airlines will offer nonstop service from Duluth to Fort Myers, Florida and to Phoenix, Arizona.
The new service is part of a larger expansion by the airline to eight other airports in its network.
The seasonal service begins on December 17th with twice weekly flights to both locations on Monday’s and Friday’s.
Duluth Airport Executive Director, Tom Werner, hopes the new Sun Country flights will expedite the recovery of air travel through Duluth following the setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Special fares for the new flights are available through May 4th.
