DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A fire did 70 thousand dollars in damage to a two story home in the 700 block of West 2nd Street in Duluth Tuesday morning.
Duluth Fire crews responded to the boarded up building that was condemned in 2012 to find heavy fire in the rear of the structure.
Witnesses say squatters were camping under the structure where the fire originated and the cause was determined to be accidental.
There were no injuries as the result of the fire.
The Fire Department encourages those people in need of shelter to use the CHUM Drop-In Center or the warming facility at the Rainbow Center.
