DULUTH, MN (CBS-3) – Former City Councilor Noah Hobbs will join the Duluth City Council again after being appointed to fill a vacant council seat on Monday night.
The three finalists, which included Hobbs, Jenna Yeakle, and Justin Davis were interviewed prior to the start of the City Council meeting.
The current councilors then chose Hobbs after two rounds of voting.
Hobbs formerly served on the city council, but lost the at-large election to Derek Medved and Arik Forsman in 2020.
Hobbs will fill Medved’s seat for the remainder of his term.
