DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A full scale emergency exercise will be held at the Duluth International Airport from 8 a-m to 1 p-m on Thursday.
The exercise is required to be held every three years by the Federal Aviation Administration.
The drill will involve several agencies and will test their response to an emergency situation or actual aircraft incident.
The exercise will not affect any commercial flights and will take place in an area separate from flight operations.
The public may notice increased emergency vehicle activity coming to and from the airport during the drill.
