DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth is asking residents to help protect Lake Superior by adopting a storm drain.
Since storm water flows directly from the drains into rivers, creeks and steams that flow to the lake, keeping drains free of leaves, dirt and trash will improve the water quality.
Find a drain near your home or workplace to adopt by going to adopt-a-drain.org.
Residents who chose to participate will get an informational packet and a small yard sign that reads “We Protect Lake Superior.”
