IRON, MN (KDAL) – A program about substance use prevention is being held on Wednesday at the Cherry School.
Students, parents and community members will be able to learn about the realities of youth substance abuse and what is being done to combat it.
“Know the Truth” is an event that features a team from the Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge.
The program for students in grades 6 through 12 will be held during the school day and the community event begins at 5 p-m with a free supper and resource fair.
Both events will be at the Cherry School at 3943 Tamminen Road in Iron.
The events will build awareness of local drug trends including the new vaping epidemic.
