(Reuters) – A low pressure area located about 300 miles south-southwest of Nantucket, Massachusetts has become better organized and has a 70% chance of becoming a cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Friday.
“If current trends continue, a tropical depression or tropical storm is likely to form later today or tonight,” the NHC said.
