DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth Fire Department and other first responders were called to the Miller Hill Mall about 9 a-m Tuesday on reports of a partial roof collapse.
The mall was evacuated and will remain closed until further notice as structural engineers assess the damage and the integrity of the rest of the building.
There were no injuries reported and an initial gas leak was quickly contained by Public Works crews.
For now, the building’s gas and water has been shut off.
The various Essentia Health properties in the mall will contact patients directly to reschedule or move appointments to other facilities.
