DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – In a year when winter weather refuses to let go, more snow is in the forecast for the Northland.
Most of the region will have a Winter Weather Advisory from 7 p-m Thursday to 10 a-m Friday for mixed precipitation and 2 to 6 inches of snow.
In addition, Pine County Minnesota, northwest Wisconsin and the south shore of Lake Superior has a Winter Storm Watch posted for Friday evening through Saturday.
Freezing rain, snow and high winds will result in slippery roads and reduced visibility.
The winds, gusting over 35 miles per hour, and the heavy, wet snow could also bring down tree branches and power lines.
After a brief break Sunday and Monday, another winter storm system could affect the area on Tuesday and Tuesday night.
