DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The National Weather Service Office in Duluth has issued a Blizzard Warning until 7 p-m Monday for southern Cook County and the South Shore of Lake Superior.
Additional heavy snow accumulations and strong winds will make travel difficult to impossible.
The Blizzard Warning in Minnesota includes the City of Grand Marais, the Grand Portage Reservation and in Wisconsin areas along and north of Highway 2 not including Superior.
Winter Storm Warnings are posted for the rest of the Arrowhead of Minnesota and northern Wisconsin.
The Twin Ports will be mostly cloudy with just a 20 percent chance of snow Monday morning and a chance for blowing snow.
After 3.4 inches of snow in Duluth Sunday, the seasonal total for snow was at 135.1 inches, just 3 tenths of an inch short of the record.
There is a chance for more accumulating snow later this week.
