WASHINGTON, D.C. (KDAL) – U-S Senator Tina Smith has joined others in asking the USPS Inspector General to investigate changes made recently to post office operations and what the impact will be on timely mail delivery.
Senator Smith, on the KDAL Morning Show, says she has sent letters to Postmaster General DeJoy expressing her concerns about how the changes will impact the upcoming elections….
DeJoy has said there will be no additional operational changes to the Post Office until after the election. Smith says he didn’t say that he would reverse any of the changes to the USPS that have already been made.
Postmaster DeJoy will testify before Congress on Friday.
