DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon has reached its fastest sellout since 2018 with over 8 thousand participants signing up for the race since the registration opened on October 1st.
Despite being officially sold out, there are still opportunities to enter the race. Grandma’s Marathon Marketing and Public Relations Director Zach Schneider says a hundred 2 year Guaranteed Program entries will be sold for both the 2024 and 2025 races.
There is also less than 50 entries remaining in the Half Great Grandma’s Challenge where you sign up for both the William A. Irvin 5-K and the half marathon.
Participants can also register through one of the Charity Partners when you reach a fundraising goal set by that particular organization.
Online registration is still being taken for spots in the full marathon and the Irvin 5-K.
