(Reuters) – Tropical storm Sean has weakened to a tropical depression, according to satellite derived wind data, and is unlikely to get much stronger in the coming days, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Wednesday.
Sean is about 860 miles (1,390 km) west-southwest of the Cape Verde islands, packing maximum sustained winds of 35 mph (55 kph), the Miami-based forecaster said.
