After a wild and crazy Friday the 13th game, UMD and Northern Michigan will wrap up a two-game series here.
And, really, what’s the point of trying to predict what will happen? No one could have seen 5-5 and all those penalties coming on Friday. Absolute madness, and further proof that one of the great things about this game is that you never really know what you will see when you walk through the door.
Plenty of changes for UMD. That is what will happen when you lose your top line center in Dominic James, who has an upper-body injury. We’ll get a further update next week on James. For those who don’t follow me on Twitter/X/Whatever Dumb Name You Give It, this isn’t the NFL. We rarely get very specific injury info, and that isn’t just a UMD thing. And UMD generally doesn’t deal in injury timelines like some other places do (and that’s OK, too, it’s their choice how to handle public disclosure of injuries).
I love that people care about James for whatever the reason is that they care, but we will tell you what we know when we know it. Promise.
Anyway, lines?
