HIBBING, MN (KDAL) – Members of the Lake Superior Violent Offenders Task Force assisted agents from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the U-S Postal Inspectors Office in a narcotics investigation at the Hibbing Post Office Monday.
The Task Force K-9, Murphy, conducted a sniff test of a suspicious package which indicated the presence of narcotics.
A search warrant was obtained and the package was opened revealing about 5 pounds of methamphetamine.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says two people were taken into custody.
