(Reuters) – Emma Hayes has been appointed head coach of the United States women’s national soccer team, the federation said in a statement on Tuesday.
The 47-year-old from London announced on Nov. 4 that she would leave Chelsea at the end of the Women’s Super League season in May after winning 13 major trophies in her 11 seasons with the English club.
