DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The 34.9 million dollar renovation of the old Duluth Central High School into 122 mixed income apartments began in May of 2022 and is now complete.
Kraus-Anderson of Duluth did the work on the building that was built in 1892 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The iconic structure remodel was designed by AWH Architects and is owned by Saturday Properties.
The apartments feature unique design schemes and the building includes a penthouse lounge, clubhouse, fitness center, sauna and an auditorium.
Now known as the Zenith DCHS, the four story building has sweeping views of the Duluth harbor and features the city’s landmark clock tower.
