DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth Salvation Army’s goal for the March food drive was 9 thousand dollars and 9 thousand pounds of food.
Last week, a donation of 14,890 dollars from the Rotary Club of Duluth surpassed the goal and will be proportionately matched by Minnesota Food Share.
Donations from the Rotary and others help the Salvation Army restock their food shelf and continue a hot lunch program that provided nearly 42 thousand meals to those in need in 2023.
The Minnesota Food Share March Campaign continues through April 6th and donations can be made online at DuluthSA.org or by mail and in person at 215 South 27th Avenue West in Duluth.
