DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate after the Vista Star hit the breakwater in the Wisconsin Entry on Saturday night.
Initial reports said the vessel, with 84 people aboard, was against the breakwater but was not taking on any water.
The U-S Coast Guard removed a person from the boat who was taken to a hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
The crew was able to maneuver the Vista Star off the breakwater and it was escorted by the Rescue Squad, Duluth Fire Department and Coast Guard vessels to its berth at the Minnesota Slip in Duluth.
Once docked, several other people were assessed with minor injuries.
The incident occurred around 10:45 p-m Saturday.
