DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Law enforcement and the Superior National Forest are looking into a missing saw blade that disappeared from the Henry Mills site this spring.
The rusty saw blade is an item of archeological interest from a site in Cook County, near Lutsen, that is tied to the logging and railroad era of northern Minnesota.
The buildings, saw blade and other tools found there in 1990 are typical of logging operations during the early 20th century.
Anyone with information that can help in the recovery of the missing saw blade is asked to contact the Superior National Forest or send an email tip to sm.fs.suf-tipline@usda.gov.
