DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A crash Monday morning between a motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of the West Arrowhead Road and the Rice Lake Road in Duluth resulted in the death of the motorcyclist.
Duluth Police say the accident, around 6:45 a-m, resulted in a secondary collision with two other vehicles that were stopped at the traffic light.
The motorcycle driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and no other injuries were reported.
Police say there were no signs of impairment by any of the involved drivers and an investigation will determine if any charges are filed.
The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting in the crash investigation and reconstruction.
The victim’s name has not yet been released by authorities.
