DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Registration capacity was reached on Wednesday for the 2025 Grandma’s Marathon which marks the earliest sellout in the history of the race.
The other two associated races, the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and the William A. Irvin 5-K were both sold out in a couple of days after registrations opened on October 1st.
Organizers are expecting more than 22 thousand participants in the three races in June.
There are still limited race entries available from charity partners when reaching fundraising goals. Rules to obtain those entries vary by organization.
Grandma’s Marathon began in 1977 and has now grown to be the 10th largest in the U-S.
