DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Again this year, Super One stores across the Northland are matching their Salvation Army Red Kettle donations now through Christmas Eve.
Register round ups for the Salvation Army are also being taken at the stores.
The Red Kettle donations are being matched by Miner’s Incorporated up to 50 thousand dollars. Since 2010, the annual Miner’s match has totaled over 650 thousand dollars.
Cyndi Lewis, Community Engagement Director for the Salvation Army says Super One stores have set a standard of generosity and lead by example.
Lewis says the Red Kettle goal this year is a higher than average 250 thousand dollars and with just 2 weeks left, they are considerably short of that goal.
They are currently in desperate need of bell ringers, gift wrap booth volunteers and help for Christmas distribution.
To volunteer for a bell ringing shift go to registertoring.com or get more information at DuluthSA.org
