DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A house fire early Wednesday morning in Duluth has left the residents displaced and three pet dogs dead.
Fire crews from Woodland, UMD, Lakeside and downtown stations responded to a single family structure at 617 Spear Avenue at 4:18 a-m.
They arrived to find heavy smoke and active fire in the basement of the home and the residents safely evacuated.
Damage estimates were set at 100 thousand dollars and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Duluth Fire Marshal’s Office.
The residents are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
