DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A public meeting to discuss a project that will reconfigure and resurface 6th Avenue East will be held Thursday in Duluth.
The City will provide details about the project, that is scheduled for this summer, and get feedback from the public.
The busy street will be changed from a four lane roadway to three lanes with a center turn lane between East 2nd Street and Mesaba Avenue.
That portion of 6th Avenue East will also be resurfaced and ADA compliant pedestrian upgrades will be installed.
The meeting on Thursday will be at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church from 5 to 7 p-m with child care and food provided.
A presentation about the project and the expected construction impacts will be followed by an opportunity for those attending to ask questions and share input.
