Former Kozy Bar Demolition Begins

DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – On Tuesday, the City of Duluth began demolishing the Pastoret Terrace at the corner of East 1st Street and 2nd Avenue East.

The building has been vacant for many years and formerly housed the Kozy Bar and apartments.

There will likely be some road closures in the area during the work and, since water is used during the demolition process, icy surfaces and debris on nearby sidewalks may also occur.

In the interest of safety, the public is asked to stay clear of the site.
