Fire Damages Garage In Duluth

DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Around 4 p-m on Wednesday, the Duluth Fire Department responded to reports of a garage fire in the 800 block of North 43rd Avenue West.

Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire in a two and a half stall garage. The Fire Department says the spread of the fire was hampered by the drywall that covered the interior walls.

Damage was estimated at 5 thousand dollars to the structure and another ten thousand to the garage contents.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is being investigated by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
