UNDATED (24/7 NEWS SOURCE) – Americans don’t know yet who will be in the White House next year.
President Trump has won several key battleground states including Ohio, Florida and Texas, chipping away at Joe Biden’s electoral college lead.
But the former vice president says he remains optimistic about the outcome. Biden addressed a drive-in rally in Delaware and stressed that the election won’t be over until all ballots have been counted.
Trump is also sounding upbeat, tweeting overnight that he is “up BIG.” He spoke from the White House later and accused his opponents of trying to steal the election.
Battleground states like Michigan and Wisconsin are still too close to call. Overnight, Trump declared victory while over a million votes were yet to be counted, and insisted it would be “fraud” if those votes were counted. He also pledged he would go to the Supreme Court to stop the vote.
