DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The recent outbreak of COVID-19 cases in the area has prompted the City of Duluth to close most facilities to the public beginning on Monday.
Exceptions include the main public library which will continue to operate with limited services and computer use by appointment.
City staff will still be available to assist remotely and services from Police, Fire and Public Works Departments will continue.
Officials urge residents to adhere to Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines by wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing, washing hands frequently and staying home when sick.
The situation will be monitored and city operations will resume when it is safe to do so.
