DUBLIN (Reuters) – Health Minister Stephen Donnelly said on Thursday Ireland’s COVID-19 reproduction number, measuring the number of people who become infected as a result of each positive case, is between 1.1 and 1.3.
Donnelly told parliament he had a “very sobering” meeting with Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer, Tony Holohan, as the country prepares to ease travel restrictions on Friday.
