Wednesday, August 14th 2019 at Bayfront Festival Park the gates opened at 5:00pm and nearly three-thousand people poured in to sample burgers from a variety of local restaurants and markets. The Northwoods Band from Two Harbors were there and we all had a real good time. The People’s Choice first place winner of Grill Wars 2019 presented by Fond du Luth Casino went to Stokke’s Meat Market of Duluth & Hermantown, 2nd place went to McKenzies Bar & Grill in Hermantown and 3rd place to Grandma’s Restaurant of Duluth. The Judge’s Choice Award went to Outback Steakhouse of Hermantown. More than $20,000 was raised for the Boys and Girls Club of The Northland.
