DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Division is hosting a ribbon cutting on Friday to celebrate the improvements made to Quarry Park.
Free outdoor family activities will follow the ceremony from 4 to 6 p-m.
Completed projects at the park include the construction of a nine-hole disc golf course, parking lot and access road improvements and multi-use trails that connect to Brewer Park.
Funding was provided from Cyclists of the Gitchee Gumee Shores (COGGS), the Duluth Climbers Coalition and the Lake Superior Disc Golf Community.
Parking for the event is available at the lot off the 1300 block of North 59th Avenue West.
