SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – The 4th Annual Aeronautics and Aerospace Camp for High School Girls is being held at the University of Wisconsin-Superior this week.
The camp is designed to teach high school girls about career opportunities in aeronautics and space.
Campers will also learn about building and launching rockets and get hands on experience flying drones and learn about their uses and safety protocols.
Participants also get tours of the Duluth International Airport, Lake Superior Helicopters, Cirrus Aircraft, AAR and the 148th Fighter Wing.
The camp is hosted by the UWS Transportation and Logistics Research Center.
