DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The U-S Forest Service has set a tentative date to re-open the process to reserve Boundary Waters Canoe Area permits.
The new reservation system failed and many people were unable to access the process when it first opened on January 30th.
The software problem fix and additional training for system operators should be complete and testing will be accomplished by the end of the month.
The Forest Service has set a tentative date of February 27th to resume taking reservations if all the testing goes smoothly.
