ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota unemployment rate in December remained at 2.8 percent for the 4th straight month.
According to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), the unemployment rate is the lowest since May of 1999 and just above the all-time low of 2.5 percent in January and February of 1999.
Seven of the major sectors gained jobs last month with Leisure and Hospitality leading the way by adding 2100 more jobs in December.
