SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – The 6th Annual Running for our Heroes 5K Run-Walk is set for Saturday at UWS starting at 9 a-m.
The event is hosted by the University’s Veterans and Nontraditional Student Center and Douglas County Veteran Services.
Registration and the start and finish line is located at the UWS Marcovich Wellness Center and the course takes you through the campus.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Douglas County Soldiers and Sailors Relief Fund and the UWS VNSC Emergency Fund.
The VNSC serves 35 percent of the school’s undergraduate enrollment each semester.
